How about we make base camp at Hunter Square instead? It seems better than picketing Poundstretcher, because it is a wide space where we are not in danger of impeding pedestrians. And we can obviously nip down the street to shout delicious slogans at the HAPI place too.

With that in mind, would we be able to set up a couple of folding tables to distribute cake and leaflets? Need to add "folding tables" to the stuff we need list (or maybe Poundstretcher could sell us some ;) ...)

Would we need to talk to the polis to establish this plan?

I think we might do. There may be a Health and Safety ban on the selling of cakes without a license! I've seen arseholes spoil the fun like this for people I know. Perhaps giving them away is ok. Someone might need to research this.
