Info

The 10th of February 2008 (Lisa McPhersons Birthday) saw 130+ protesters on the streets of Edinburgh, and over 9000 protesters world wide, take a stand against Scientology.

Saturday, the 15th of March was a host to Operation Party Hard in an ironic celebration of L. Ron Hubbards' birthday (on the 13th). Anonymous and the general public again took to the streets to take a stand against Scientologys fraud and abuse.

The day was a huge success. Anonymous thanks anonymous for taking part and transforming Hunters Square into a carnival. The day was peaceful, cheerful and had a positive atmosphere. There were a similar number of protesters to the February 10th protests (130), proving that Anonymous is not weakening. On the contrary, there were visible improvements in the signs and messages, and leaflets, which the public "got".

Scientologists Hate Flowers

Anonymous attempted to hand over a bunch of flowers to the security guard to give to Scientologists inside, on Anonymous' behalf. The flowers were rejected, as he was instructed not to accept anything. Anonymous was advised to "try another day". Anonymous is deeply concerned at Scientologists' hatred for beautiful objects. They probably hate children.

Cakes

The cakes were moist and delicious. Thank you.

Costumes

Some people chose to wear costumes. This was a great idea and helped us stand out and seem friendly. Party hats also helped to keep to the theme and were light natured.

Fliers & Posters

Putting up posters is perfectly acceptable, and they may not be removed by Scientologists until they are no longer relevant (though realistically they will be removed as soon as we are gone). There were a good number of fliers being handed out last time, which was good. The "Scientologist Quiz" one specifically met all the qualifications. It was short, interesting, and encouraged people to find out more.
